Create a backup directory

# mkdir -p ~/mysqlbkp

Dump MySQL databases

# mysqldump –all-databases –routines –triggers > ~/mysqlbkp/dbcopy.sql

Copy MySQL data directory

# cp -r /var/lib/mysql/mysql ~/mysqlbkp/

Next, try to check MySQL Databases with repair command:

# mysqlcheck -r -A

# mysqlcheck -u root –auto-repair –check –all-databases

After this, try to restart MySQL service once again.
